Chiropractic, as a profession, has been around since 1890. Since that time there have been many refinements on the techniques used to adjust the vertebrae of the spine. Some of theses techniques are more assertive than others. It has been my experience that most of these adjusting methods are beneficial. The art of chiropractic is determining which technique is best suited to the specific needs and physiology of the individual patient.
With this in mind I have incorporated numerous techniques into my practice, these range from the traditional adjustment where the spine is “popped” to far less aggressive techniques that utilize gravity, or an activator type instrument that can be adjusted from strong to barely noticeable.
The gist is that there is an adjusting method that is suitable to every person and spinal condition. With the above noted adjusting techniques I have treated people from newborn to over 100 years of age.
If you would like to discuss what adjusting method I would utilize in your particular case contact me and we will arrange a consultation.
